Apple is looking to solve the problem of delivering the best location experience for their customers by building automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance quality assurance processes for Location Technologies
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of chipset validation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
- Knowledge of GNSS / Cellular location simulations required for functional & performance validation
- Experience in debugging GNSS logs to triage and root-cause issues
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and novel genAI techniques that can be leveraged for automation and analysis
- 5+ years of solid understanding of GNSS / Cellular / WiFi / Bluetooth / NFC and related Connectivity / RF technologies
- 5+ years in coding with Python code or related programming experience
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and automation strategy
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with developers and other cross functional stakeholders to understand the features and use data-driven test results to influence and craft the end product
- You will use your programming skills to automate test processes, data analysis, and reporting
- Developing data crowdsourcing systems
- Prototyping apps & features for future OS releases
- Debugging GNSS logs to triage and root-cause issues
- Design and development of automated test harnesses & data analysis tooling
- Influence and craft the end product using data-driven test results

- Ability to drive cross-functional communications and understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained
- Prior experience of working in fast-paced, agile environment, with flexibility to pivot easily to support new user requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic group
