Apple's Sensing and Connectivity team is looking for an engineer to help build automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance their quality assurance processes and deliver the best location experience for customers using GNSS, Cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth technologies on Apple products.
Requirements
- solid understanding of GNSS / Cellular / WiFi / Bluetooth / NFC and related Connectivity / RF technologies
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and automation strategy
- Excellent knowledge of chipset validation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
- Knowledge of AGNSS / Cellular location simulations required for functional, performance, 3GPP conformance validation
- Experience in debugging GNSS logs to triage and root-cause issues ,with development of custom analysis scripts considered a plus
- Experience in design and development of automated test harnesses & data analysis tooling
- Knowledge of Python coding, machine learning algorithms and novel genAI techniques that can be leveraged for automation and analysis
Responsibilities

- improve the reliability and robustness of our proprietary system
- work closely with hardware and software developers to ensure features are developed with high quality and performance

- leverage Python coding, machine learning algorithms and novel genAI techniques for automation and analysis
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a reciprocal environment
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications and understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained
- Prior experience of working in fast-paced, agile environment, with flexibility to pivot easily to support new user requirements
- Strong mentoring skills and a commitment to team development
