Airbus Helicopters is looking to improve quality processes, operational efficiency, and workflow in their production and repair station operations
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite
- AutoCAD and VBA proficiency are preferred
- Ability to use computers and associated software
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree program for aerospace, engineering or manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Assist Quality team by supporting problem solving, transformation, lean manufacturing, process/continuous improvement, innovation and six sigma projects
- Learn the root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes at Airbus Helicopters and assist/participate in improvement efforts
- Update visual management schemes, metrics, and support analysis and tools to assist in operating manufacturing
- Document 5S scores, housekeeping audits and FOD levels
- Assist in compliance with NAS 412
- Support to improve quality processes, operational efficiency and workflow
- Provide support to Quality Engineering team
Other
- Must be currently located in DFW metro area
- High School diploma
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form
- Ability to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
- Travel requirement: approximately 5% - 10%
