Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. As the LTAMDS Technical Illustrator, you’ll provide illustrations for the development of all aspects of the LTAMDS TMs. In this role, you’ll work with a team of writers and illustrators in in the development of operational and maintenance manuals of the LTAMDS Air Defense System.

Requirements

• Experience with Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Creo view and / or Illustrator.
• Experience with the Eagle Publishing System, MIL Standard 40051 or S1000D.
• Experience with 3D modeling applications.
• Knowledge of how to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with XML and Common PDM.

Responsibilities

• Development of the illustrations for the IETMs and Technical Manuals, including material addressing:
• System functional theory
• Operations
• Preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics and illustrated parts breakdowns from compiled engineering technical reports, drawings, and parts lists
• DAMWO

Other

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• DoD Clearance: Secret
• This role will require approximately 20% domestic travel ranging from 1-2 weeks in duration.
• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
