Northrop Grumman is looking for an experienced M&S Software Process & Build Engineer to work with their Modeling and Simulation team to assure value-added implementation of their CM process and to achieve and maintain a standardized build system for the team.
Requirements
- Experience using git as a configuration management tool
- Proficiency in using CMake for building software products
- Experience working on DoD contracts with CDRLs, including developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience with AGILE SW process management or CMMI
- Knowledge and experience in building and deploying containerized applications.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Software development in C++ or C, Multithreaded applications, CAMEO or other SYSML tool, or Weapon system Modeling and Simulation
- Experience in developing or working with a CI/CD pipeline (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- work with the modeling and simulation team across projects to assure value-added implementation of our CM process, and to achieve and maintain a standardized build system for the team.
- coordinate with other software teams for DevSecOps implementation and execution, and on CI/CD development and maintenance.
- responsible for guiding the delivery process of all deliverables of the M&S team.
- work with functional management to assist in optimizing and implementing AGILE processes.
