Kirkland & Ellis is looking to enhance collaboration and drive firmwide productivity by building intuitive, high-impact Microsoft 365 solutions, specifically focusing on SharePoint Online. The goal is to deliver secure, scalable tools that improve workflows and elevate the user experience across the organization.
Requirements
- Skilled in SPFx development, Modern PnP search web parts, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps forms; prior SharePoint On-Premises knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and the Power Platform, including experience using Microsoft Graph, PnP, Search, and REST APIs for automation and integration.
- Proven experience administering and supporting core Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams Workspaces) at scale.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention, retention policies, eDiscovery, and governance practices supporting regulatory or client requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365 services.
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience supporting and managing Microsoft 365 solutions in a mid-to-large enterprise environment, including at least one year focused on Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Experience in a law firm or other highly regulated environment and familiarity with legal workflows and confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and pages that support departmental and practice group needs.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions that enhance navigation, usability, and overall functionality.
- Utilize Patterns and Practices (PnP) libraries and templates to standardize provisioning and maintain consistency across environments.
- Design automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline document management, approvals, notifications, and other internal processes.
- Create low-code Power Apps that integrate with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services to support business operations.
- Produce clear, comprehensive documentation outlining configurations, solutions, and ongoing maintenance steps.
- Resolve SharePoint-related issues, manage permissions, support navigation and content management, and participate in scheduled weekend maintenance and the team’s 24x7 on-call rotation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
