The Advanced Analytics & Intelligence (A2I) team at CPS Energy is looking to solve business and customer problems by leveraging data-driven solutions through advanced analytic techniques. The ML Engineer will help the organization understand how opportunities fit into the product pipeline, estimate benefits, and define technical roadmaps for iterative product solutions.
Requirements
- Experience of Business Problem Framing, Analytics Problem Framing, Data, Methodology Selection, Model Building, Deployment, Lifecycle Management.
- Proficiency of statistical techniques and concepts
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience transforming data using database querying (SQL) and dataframe classes
- Experience in advanced data modeling (e.g. Alteryx, Apache Spark, API consumption, advanced SQL)
- Experience in predictive modeling, large data analysis and computer science
- Experience with machine learning APIs/libraries: SparkML, Scikit-learn, H2O.ai, Tensorflow, PyTorch
Responsibilities
- Brings a deep understanding of data science analytical tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Oracle SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, etc.) Able to iterate fast so that we can reduce “time-to-market” of our products.
- Builds large and complex information sets, integrating and extracting relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data.
- Conducts advanced analytics leveraging predictive modeling, machine learning, simulation, optimization and other techniques.
- Builds and maintains a robust library of reusable algorithms and supporting code.
- Create products based on the highest quality data, that are transparently conducted, and able to be productionized and reproduced so that our business partners can trust us.
