Truveta is seeking to improve healthcare through large-scale technological innovations and digital intelligence, and is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help achieve this goal.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of fundamentals of machine learning
- Experience with evaluation of ML models, grounded in statistics and measurement/decision science
- Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and multi-modal models using supervised and reinforcement learning
- Experience with designing reward functions or graders for Reinforcement Fine-Tuning
- Experience with building AI agents using agentic frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native platforms and languages (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with crafting modular APIs and building engaging and intuitive web experiences
Responsibilities
- Building and evaluating deep neural networks (DNNs) from scratch
- Fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and multi-modal models using supervised and reinforcement learning
- Designing reward functions or graders for Reinforcement Fine-Tuning, especially with LLMs
- Building AI agents using agentic frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen
- Creating end-to-end agentic AI applications from scratch
- Building and maintaining reliable, secure and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms
- Optimizing GPU usage for model training and inference
Other
- 2+ years of experience building production ML engineering systems in a team setting
- S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
