Micron Technology is looking to enhance its machine learning model development, product functionality, and the integration of AI/ML capabilities into its solutions and platform by analyzing data, designing and implementing models, and optimizing data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Building and executing end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) systems automating training, testing, and deploying ML models in cloud platforms;
- Working with ML frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn;
- Prediction (regression) and classification algorithms and deep learning, reinforcement learning and generative Artificial Intelligence (AI);
- Programming skills in Python or Java;
- Developing ML or AI solutions with either Python, AWS, AZURE, or GCP;
- Using Docker, Kubernetes and containerization;
- Using ETL to develop pipelines (Airflow/Kubeflow/Dataflow);
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can enhance machine learning model development.
- Design, implement, and iterate on machine learning models to address specific business challenges and enhance product functionality.
- Build and maintain Data/Solution Pipeline Engineering to ensure a robust and scalable data infrastructure that supports the training and deployment of machine learning models.
- Collaborate on data preprocessing and feature engineering to enhance the quality of input data for machine learning models.
- Design and optimize data structures in data management systems (Cloud platforms - Snowflake, GCP, Azure) to enable AI/ML solutions.
- Build custom software components and analytics applications.
- Create/Maintain CI/CD pipelines of machine learning solutions in the cloud environment.

- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an AI Engineer-related ccupation; Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in an AI Engineer-related occupation.
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for integrating machine learning and Generative artificial intelligence capabilities into Project solutions/platform.
- Collaborate with the Product team to design a Tactical roadmap for the adoption of machine learning technologies, paradigms & frameworks following organizations best practices.
