Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a security cleared AI / Machine Learning Engineer to support a Federal Engineering team focused on GenAI solutions for the public sector, architecting and deploying AI-driven mission systems for government clients.
Requirements
- Extensive background with computer vision, deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, and natural language processing in a production environment
- Strong background with algorithms, data structures and object oriented programming
- High level programming in Python, along with experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience deploying machine learning models in cloud environments (preferably AWS or GCP)
- Experience with generative AI models, agentic systems, and large language models
- Familiar with agentic model design and ML evaluation frameworks
Responsibilities
- Take cutting-edge internally and community developed models, and utilize them to solve problems for customers and taskers
- Maintain and improve production models through deep reinforcement learning, architectural upgrades, and hyperparameter tuning
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and prototype ML-driven product enhancements
- Create scalable Machine learning infrastructures to optimize and automate ML services
- Be comfortable using new technologies in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- architect and deploy cutting-edge, AI-driven mission systems
- work with high-throughput platforms capable of processing billions of data points, contributing to secure, distributed infrastructures and advanced machine learning pipelines

- Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence is a plus
