Ford Motor Company is looking to design, build, deploy, and scale advanced machine learning (ML) solutions in domains such as computer vision, perception, and localization, and to automate and optimize the end-to-end ML lifecycle.
Requirements
- Python (Intermediate): Data extraction and quality profiling
- Python (Intermediate): Data transformation (e.g., aggregation, normalization using pandas)
- Python (Intermediate): Data visualization and statistical analysis (e.g., correlations, pivot tables)
- Forecasting & Applied Statistics: Experience with tools such as scikit-learn, statsmodels, Excel Solver
- Forecasting & Applied Statistics: Exposure to Python optimization libraries (e.g., PuLP, OR-Tools)
- Experience with SQL and database querying
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., VS Code, Jupyter Notebook, GitHub Copilot)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative ML models and algorithms to solve complex problems in structured and unstructured environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable ML pipelines, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Apply statistical modeling techniques (e.g., decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis) to improve system performance, data quality, and accuracy.
- Adapt ML techniques to emerging areas such as virtual/augmented reality, object detection, tracking, classification, and terrain mapping.
- Train and re-train ML models as needed to maintain performance and relevance.
- Deploy ML models into production environments and run simulations to test various scenarios.
- Automate model deployment and lifecycle management using Agile, CI/CD/CT, and MLOps principles.

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future ML requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in automotive or other professional environments
- Demonstrated use of AI tools for research, problem-solving, and code generation
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to deliver insights under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
