Plus One Robotics is looking to develop and maintain code and infrastructure for their production warehouse pick and place robotics systems, which perform over 1.5 million picks a day. The goal is to handle continuous edge cases and distributional shifts by incorporating them into new autonomous models and adapting cutting-edge techniques to an industrial setting.
Requirements
- Skilled in Python, with familiarity with PyTorch, HuggingFace, LeRobot or similar libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure such as GCP or AWS
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the code and infrastructure responsible for collecting data from, training and deploying models to, and evaluating the behavior of our production warehouse pick and place robotics systems.
- Incorporate edge cases and distributional shift into new autonomous models.
- Adapt cutting-edge techniques from open source and academic research communities to our demanding industrial setting.
- Implement scalable, robust systems that serve our clients.
- Read, understand, and utilize 3rd party documentation of code (repos) and theoretical advances (papers).
- Build systems for functionality, scalability, and maintenance.
- Adapt machine learning algorithms and libraries (Deep Neural Nets, Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning) for our applications.

- Previous work with industrial robots
- Must be able to travel both domestically within the US and internationally (including the EU, Canada, and Australia) without any travel restrictions. May travel up to 20% of the time during deployments.
- Must be able to provide documentation that shows authorization to legally work in the U.S.
