Requirements

  • 1+ year of coding experience in Python and at least one additional language (e.g., Go, TypeScript, Ruby).
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with distributed data processing and ML workflow orchestration (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks, Kusto, Flink, Airflow).
  • Prior experience designing APIs and integrating with customer-facing products for both conversational and non-conversational AI.
  • Skilled in leveraging large language models (LLMs) in solutions.
  • 1+ year of experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deploying models in production.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization for actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source relevant, high-quality data for machine learning solutions, and proactively recognize and address potential bias in datasets and product development.
  • Identify, prototype, deploy, and monitor machine learning solutions—selecting the appropriate approach (off-the-shelf, fine-tuning, or custom models)—to automate customer interactions (e.g., chatbots, ticket classification, sentiment analysis) and deliver intelligent assistance across the full AI development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, leverage, and maintain scalable infrastructure, including APIs and data pipelines, to support AI experimentation, data processing, and model evaluation, ensuring integration with existing systems.
  • Build tools and integrations that streamline customer workflows and provide seamless, high-quality experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product, Revenue, and Engineering teams to assess technical feasibility of AI opportunities, articulating considerations specific to AI-powered solutions (e.g., models, prompting, compute/GPU needs, nondeterminism).
  • Participate in the architectural design and implementation of Customer Success products, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and integration with existing systems.
  • Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement, while communicating findings and recommendations effectively.

  • 4+ years experience in software development, applied science, machine learning, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, or related field AND 2+ years experience in software development, applied science, machine learning, or related field OR Master's Degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Software Development, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, or related field OR equivalent experience.
