MasterControl is looking for a Machine Learning Intern to apply machine learning to solve real-world problems in the life sciences and other regulated industries.
Requirements
Proficiency in Python, with familiarity in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Understanding of basic machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, and clustering.
Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing data for model training and evaluation.
Work with ML and MLOps engineers and data scientists to develop and fine-tune machine learning and large language models.
Conduct experiments to test different models and approaches, documenting results and identifying the most effective methods.
Use metrics and evaluation techniques to assess model performance, and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Create detailed documentation of workflows, models, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.
Work closely with other team members in engineering, and product development to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Write web services to enable use of the models in production software.

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Must be enrolled at Northeastern University and eligible to participate in the official Co-op program for the designated term.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
