HD Supply is looking to support its data science team in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions by hiring a Machine Learning Intern.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in R, SQL, or Java a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Understanding of statistics, probability, and regression methods.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or seaborn).
- Exposure to cloud or big data platforms (AWS, Spark, or Databricks) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to analyze large datasets and uncover insights.
- Develop, train, and validate predictive models using tools like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Assist in optimizing algorithms and improving model accuracy and performance.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving NLP, computer vision, or generative AI.
