Reddit Ads is one of the fastest growing ads platforms on the web. The Manager of Ads Marketplace Quality will play a leading role in shaping Reddit’s ads auctions to ensure a great user experience with relevant ads; to help the business grow; and to establish foundational economic principles for our org.
Requirements
- You're technical, enough to solve almost any problem your team has yourself, but you prefer to guide your team into solving them
- Technical expertise in Ads auctions or closely related domains (eg online ads bidding and optimization)
Responsibilities
- Set up the vision and product strategy of ads quality and relevance
- Optimize ads delivery and auction systems through utility function design
- Measure various marketplace tradeoffs.
- build the auction/ranking platform for Ads Marketplace Quality that can scale with our ads business over the next several years.
- own the execution of your team’s roadmap and be accountable for consistent, predictable delivery.
- develop processes and tooling that constantly improve the quality of our products and systems, ensuring that they meet product requirements, customer needs, and SLAs.
Other
- Candidates for this role should have management experience and experience executing on complex Ads projects involving both math (auctions/bidding/optimization) and serving infrastructure.
- Experience managing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
