The company is looking for a Machine Operator who can effectively and efficiently run multiple machines, identify production problems, inspect parts, and maintain quality standards to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Must demonstrate a high ability and understanding in the area of machining
- Must be able to run parts to spec on a daily basis on multiple machines
- Must be able to read simple part drawings
- Must be able to use and read micrometers and dial calipers accurately after company-provided training
- Must be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics after company-provided training
- Experience in setting up and running Wire EDM and Conventional EDM
Responsibilities
- Performs required operations on EDM/wire machines, including loading and unloading of parts, part inspection, electrode preparation and changing
- Cleans and performs preventive maintenance and minor adjustments of assigned equipment
- Prepares various logs and records to document machine operation and daily production and enters required data into computer
- Operates EDM/wire machine, grinders, micrometers, gauges, various power tools, computer, etc.
- Set up and switch jobs as required
- Self-inspect parts on CMM using MODUS
- Run and maintain the function of multiple machines in a manufacturing cell
Other
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)
- Ability to write and document information clearly in English
- Must have a general understanding of ISO and its process within the company
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English
