Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Developer to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in mainframe development with COBOL, DB2
- At least 3 years of experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, SYNCSORT, EZYTRIEVE
- Experience in software development life cycle
- Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
Responsibilities
- translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
- apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- gather accurate requirements
- prioritize tasks and the scope of development
- identify errors and adjust in a testing environment
- contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project

- Candidate can be located within commuting distance of Southlake, TX.

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

- Analytical skills
- The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
