Requirements
- Strong expertise in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Proficient in IBM JCL utilities, File Manager, and version control tools like Changeman/Endevor.
- Experience with scheduling tools (TWS/CA7), ServiceNow, and Agile (Rally).
- Insurance domain knowledge.
- Excellent client interaction skills.
- Experience with mainframe applications and technologies.
- Knowledge of IBM mainframe operating system and utilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Utilize IBM utilities, File Manager, and version control tools (Changeman/Endevor) for code management.
- Manage job scheduling and automation using TWS and CA7.
- Handle incident management and service requests via ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Work in Agile environments using Rally for sprint planning and tracking.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, perform code reviews, and support production deployments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing technical solutions and maintaining professionalism.
