Lippert is looking for a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead and support their Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering teams in an industrial production environment. The goal is to ensure efficient operations, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety and lean initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a supervisory role
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer
- Experience organizing and overseeing multiple projects, and crews
- Extensive knowledge of how a typical manufacturing engineering and maintenance department functions is preferred
- Previous education/experience with basic machine operation/repair as a technician is preferred
- Experience working in a metal forming/weld environment is preferred
- Experience working in an environment with a wet or dry coating system is preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensures the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is fully utilized and managed.
- Reviews Maintenance KPI’s to ensure production and facility systems are maintained according to schedule.
- Sets project assignments for Manufacturing Engineering and ensures problem solving actions are closed out with effective countermeasures.
- Develops and implements the strategy to achieve continuous improvement objectives through cost and waste saving activity.
- Builds the discipline within the Maintenance and Engineering teams to document processes and procedures that align with the business goals established by the Director of Operations.
- Introduces new technology to the Maintenance and Engineering teams that will help improve response time, troubleshooting, and overall support of production objectives.
- Ensures Maintenance plans (preventive and predictive) are established, followed, and tracked to measure effectiveness.

- Responsible for adhering to Lippert core values, safety guidelines, and lean initiatives.
- Enforces Safety standards throughout the Maintenance and Engineering teams and throughout the facility.
- Participates in regular safety walks to identify opportunities to prevent safety incidents.
- Follows up with Requestors on work requests when complete or when additional information is available/needed.
- Effectively communicates expectations to the Maintenance and Engineering team.
