Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and engineering operations by building trust and creating an atmosphere of open and honest communication, with the maintenance and engineering teams, and all departments will be essential in this role.
- This position will also require the ability to think strategically, analyze data and situations, negotiate effectively, and drive change.
- Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with the entire team to motivate and inspire the overall operation as part of the Leadership Team.
- Finally, as a part of the Manager group you will be expected to effectively contribute in running the entire division.
- Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field
