Tyson Foods is looking for a Maintenance Intern to gain experience in maintenance to start their career and assist in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure continuous production.
Requirements
- Graduated or enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance program.
- C.A.T.S. program students are preferred.
- Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
- Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets.
- Setting up, adjusting and breaking down production line machinery.
- Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
- Use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Other
- To Maintain and promote the Tyson Safety culture.
- Receive Training and experience in Maintenance to start your career.
- Perform various duties as required/assigned.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.
- Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
- Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
