Requirements
Strong understanding of modern web technologies
Proven experience in leading teams to deliver complex software projects in an Agile environment
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience with performance optimization and scalability of web applications
Experience and familiarity with AI and GenAI
10+ years of experience in software development
Responsibilities
Lead and Mentor: Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to the team on architecture, design, and implementation of complex features.
Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to deployment and maintenance.
Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, design, and other engineering leaders to define product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for the email editing and template experience.
Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence within the team, focusing on system reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
Innovation: Encourage and foster a culture of innovation, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance our product and engineering practices.
Hiring & Team Building: Actively participate in recruiting and hiring top engineering talent to build a diverse and high-performing team.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, directly managing software engineers
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Must be able to work in a hybrid workplace, with the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our NYC and Atlanta offices three or more days per week
