Intuit Mailchimp is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their Finance Operations engineering team in developing and maintaining intricate billing systems, payment processor integrations, and financial data reports, while also driving compliance initiatives and payments solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, directly managing software engineers.
- Proven experience in leading teams to deliver complex software projects in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability of web applications.
- Experience and familiarity with AI and GenAI
Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor: Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to the team on architecture, design, and implementation of complex features.
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
