Intuit Mailchimp is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Finance Operations engineering team in developing and maintaining intricate billing systems, payment processor integrations, and financial data reports, while also driving compliance initiatives and payments solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability of web applications.
- Experience and familiarity with AI and GenAI
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and direction to the team on architecture, design, and implementation of complex features.
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design through to deployment and maintenance.
- Drive operational excellence within the team, focusing on system reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Encourage and foster a culture of innovation, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance our product and engineering practices.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability of web applications.

- Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide constructive feedback, and support career development.
