BMO Financial Group is looking to solve business and technical problems related to UAT leadership and delivery, strategy and change, and people management.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Delivery Framework.
- Experience in Commercial Banking or Financial Services preferred.
- Familiarity with Online Banking applications is a plus.
- Proven success implementing automated testing frameworks, Accessibility Testing and AI-based testing solutions.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, JAWS, NVDA) and WCAG standards.
- JIRA, Quality Center, Selenium or similar technical tools.
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee business testing on technical solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Lead UAT strategy, planning, and execution for projects of varying complexity.
- Develop and manage test strategies, create and review test cases for traceability, execute test cases, and validate defect resolutions.
- Manage all UAT requests for the business group, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-application dependencies and downstream impacts with IT and business teams.
- Advocate for and implement automation solutions and AI-driven testing approaches to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and track UAT performance results, address issues, and ensure continuous improvement.

- Build and lead a high-performing UAT team; attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Typically 7+ years in UAT, QA, or related roles, with leadership experience.
- Verbal & written communication – Expert.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
