Memorial Hermann is looking for a Business Solutions Manager to supervise and coordinate all activities and functions of the Business Solutions department, providing technical leadership to support the company's values and objectives in delivering high-quality, efficient care and exceptional experiences.
Requirements
- A working knowledge of mainframe, minicomputer, or microcomputer strategies, equipment, operating systems, development tools and methodologies is required.
- Six (6) years of industry training and increasingly responsible experience in managing large, complex corporate information systems and activities
- Advanced Programming knowledge and skills
- Experience in leading projects
- Demonstrates in-depth technical knowledge and complex problem solving abilities
- Experience leading and mentoring team members
- Demonstrated, through exceptional planning and organizational skills, a record of bringing tasks and projects to successful conclusion
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance in problem determination and resolution.
- Leads the development, implementation, communication, and promotion of IT strategic plans.
- Supervises, trains, and mentors a staff of skilled information systems professionals.
- Coordinates the implementation of effective tools to measure performance against these standards.
- Provides the support and motivation necessary to create and maintain a technical atmosphere that encourages proactive research and development.
- Oversees the performance of advanced design, coding, debugging, testing and implementation tasks for the more complex computer programs and systems.
- Translates user and department information needs into technical solutions.

- Manages, assigns and coordinates workflow of assigned staff.
- Demonstrate commitment in the Partners In Caring and Continuous Quality Improvement programs.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
