SSOE Group is seeking a Cloud and IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the strategic design, implementation, and governance of their enterprise infrastructure, aligning IT architecture with business goals and driving modernization and operational excellence across global systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft enterprise technologies, virtualization, networking, and storage.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra AD, SCCM, Intune, M365)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of System Administrators, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Define and evolve enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategy.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and support of enterprise infrastructure, including Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, networking, storage, backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure systems.
• Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for infrastructure services.
• Drive observability and alerting strategy to proactively identify and resolve system performance issues.
• Provide architectural oversight for infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security policies.

Other

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in the AEC or professional services industry (preferred).
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, VMware, ITIL) (preferred)
