Netflix is looking to solve company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis problems, specifically in the area of people costs and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Superior proficiency with MS Excel is expected;
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is required;
  • Tableau, Anaplan and TM1 knowledge a plus.
  • Previous experience working with financial and/or headcount-related data.
  • 7+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, preferably in corporate analytics or other roles requiring a blend of strategic and cross-functional work, with extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing, and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings in a clear and concise way.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of tools and reports for managing employee expenses and workforce planning across the company.
  • Perform data analysis and develop insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that effectively summarize the data.
  • Act as the bridge between business teams and technical teams to gather tooling and data requirements.
  • Create and maintain data documentation for both internal technical audiences and partner user teams.
  • Collaborate with partners in FP&A, Data Science & Engineering, and Planning Technology teams to enhance forecast accuracy and streamline the planning process.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, forecast methodologies, and analyses to drive business decisions related to employee expenses and workforce planning.
  • Drive process improvements in headcount planning by partnering with upstream process owners, and enhance current tools/systems related to workforce and expense management.
