Northrop Grumman is seeking to fill a dual role position that encompasses both functional management and technical performance within their Global Command and Control Engineering Leadership team. The role involves managing employees who design, develop, document, test, and debug software and systems, requiring collaboration with various engineering disciplines to meet user needs and ensure software standards.

Requirements

  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with Software Engineers, equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensures software standards are met.
  • Prior experience in Software or Cyber Engineering related to the development and delivery of US Army air defense command and control systems.
  • Proven technical management experience preferably in either program IPT, R&D or Advanced Systems, technology, and/ or functional environments.
  • Demonstrated behavior as a driver for change and continuous improvement.
