Equinox is seeking a Data Analytics Manager Consultant to join their Data Insights team to work closely with business and technology groups on various analytic initiatives, providing data reporting functions, building insightful analytical solutions, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and identifying areas for operational efficiency through automation.
Requirements
- Expertise in SQL Server/ Redshift; 10 out of 10 SQL Ninja analytic capabilities (with 6+ Years hands on experience in SQL)
- You can extract information from multiple databases using complex query statements and advanced database tools
- You possess strong knowledge of working with high volume transactional data
- Strong knowledge of analytic tools like Business Objects and Power BI
- Exposure to Data Warehouse principles and basic understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (xml, json)
- Experience working with ticketing and project management systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
Responsibilities
- Provide data reporting functions to the business and technical community using SQL querying
- Liaise with business and technology partners to build insightful analytical solutions
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies; resolve and articulate them
- Identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved through enhanced automation; implement those enhancements
- Contribute key ideas toward technical solutions/problems
- Extract information from multiple databases using complex query statements and advanced database tools
- Organize, analyze, and disseminate medium to large amount of information with great attention to detail and accuracy
Other
- You have a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in MIS / Computer Science / Engineering / Data Science
- You have 6+ years working in a data team position with a strong ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis
- You can effectively communicate with the team, leadership, and key stakeholders
- You are comfortable creating and giving presentations
- You possess strong documentation and communication skills
