The Krazy Coupon Lady (KCL) is seeking a data leader to drive the design of scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure that powers data-driven decision-making, supporting analytics and data science initiatives, and aligning data infrastructure and strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the data engineering backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of high-impact data solutions.
  • Lead delivery of data engineering projects, including planning, scoping, resource allocation, and execution to meet business goals.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of data pipeline development, maintenance, and optimization, driving continuous improvement in performance and scalability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Analytics, Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing) to define data requirements, establish milestones, and deliver solutions on schedule.
  • Optimize and maintain cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) to ensure high availability, reliability, and cost efficiency for all data initiatives.
  • Develop and enforce data engineering best practices, including data governance, security, and quality assurance, across all project phases.
  • Oversee the integration of new data sources, managing both short-term implementation and long-term integration strategies.
