Requirements
- Deep data science expertise
- Expertise with the data science toolkit, including SQL, Python, fundamentals of computer science, and fundamentals of product management
- Experience with data science projects and creating data products
- Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning
- Experience with data visualization and communication of complex data findings
- Experience with team management and leadership
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field, especially dealing with complex data-driven results, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop data products that demonstrably improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs
- Create predictive models that identify at-risk members before conditions worsen
- Implement solutions that scale effectively across the member population
- Balance immediate business needs with strategic long-term initiatives
- Build and maintain a team culture of trust and respect
- Communicate complex data findings to executives and clinical teams
- Establish an overall vision and associated roadmap for the team's work
