EverQuote is seeking a Data Science Manager to deliver high-quality models and ML-based solutions, drive strong technical practices and culture, and contribute to the evolution of ML strategy
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Data Science/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership and management role (Data Science Manager or Tech Lead)
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or a related field
- Strong technical background in data science/machine learning, mathematics, statistics, ML Ops, and adjacent technologies (data engineering, analytics, etc)
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of talented data scientists in the design, development, and deployment of our models and ML solutions
- Partner closely with both business and technical teams to understand key business problems, drive ML solution discovery, and guide the team to build, deploy and implement our models in the business
- Shape the future of our ML-based products, working with our product and leadership teams on our data science strategy and planning processes
