Costco IT is responsible for the technical future of Costco Wholesale, a large global retailer, and is undergoing a transformational journey to build the next generation retail environment. The Digital Engineering Manager will lead a product and integration team to develop and integrate products within this evolving digital environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience managing a medium to large agile development team.
- Experience with large-scale applications, preferably web based, in a cloud environment.
- Experience in working with complex modern SaaS platforms and applications.
- Experience leading a group of software engineers in a DevOps culture.
- Advocate for leveraging and evolving a continuous delivery/integration pipeline and QA Automation to drive agility.
- Experience with major development languages, such as Java or C-Sharp.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.
Responsibilities
- Leads a product and integration team to develop and integrate product(s) within the digital environment
- Provides leadership to the team and facilitates resolution of production system outages.
- Ensures non-production systems are up and running and available for projects.
- Manages the team work assignments and ensures completion.
- Advocate for leveraging and evolving a continuous delivery/integration pipeline and QA Automation to drive agility.
- Leads and motivates a team of engineers to meet product goals
