Intuitive is looking to develop automated process and test equipment for Multiport Systems products and components, and needs a leader to create and motivate a high-performing software engineering team to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a development, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, automation engineering, diagnostics software, or embedded software development.
- Experience with software development for motion control.
- Exceptional scripting language programming skill and experience (Python preferred).
- Experience with data acquisition systems.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic design.
- Experience with databases.
- Experience with DLL development, Lab Windows CVI, Matlab.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of software engineers who develop software for manufacturing and testing Intuitive’s Multiport Systems products and components.
- Mentor and coach software developers on the team.
- Develop, manage, and track software projects through their lifecycles.
- Manage requirements to ensure software meets expectations.
- Establish standards, metrics, and measurement techniques to assess the quality of software delivered by the team.
- Establish suitable software architecture and software development processes.
- Collaborate with design engineers, system analysts, manufacturing engineers, and equipment engineers to ensure that manufacturing software meets requirements.
