PiovanGroup is looking for a Manager, ERP applications to provide administration, development, and support of their SAP landscape, aiming to optimize SAP efforts, increase user adoption, improve data reporting, and minimize errors.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the following SAP functional Modules: SD, MM, PP
  • Proficient in the following SAP technical skills: ABAP, PI, IDOCS, BAPI, EDI, Variant Configurator

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of SAP optimization efforts to increase user adoption, to increase the amount of meaningful data reported from the system and to minimize errors or issues within PGNA’s SAP landscape;
  • Work with IT team to support and optimize the integration between external corporate applications and SAP using PI;
  • Enhance the IPEG PI interfaces with additional fields when needed and add new interfaces when required;
  • Create SAP ABAP applications and reports or SAP program enhancements as required to fulfill support (break fix errors) or optimization requests;
  • Supervises SAP support personnel, engages external support partners as required, and creates ABAP reports or applications.
  • Answers questions and resolves SAP related problems for clients in person or via telephone
  • Work through SAP issues and enhancement requests internally first and then provide detailed support requests when seeking assistance from SAP support vendors to minimize the number of support hours consumed;

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems (or related field) and/or five (5)+ years of direct work experience without formal education;
  • Position typically expects Five (5) to ten (10) years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of position;
  • Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from various departments and locations;
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal skills including effective collaboration and communication skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment, showing a positive attitude;
  • Ability to effectively evaluate and respond appropriately to situations to the benefit of the customer; strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.
