Marsh is looking to lead the development and operation of digital solutions to ensure operational efficiency across multiple platforms and facilitate automation strategies by building solutions tailored to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on strategic deployment of leading technology while responding quickly to client imperatives and delivering superior insights to clients based on the best available data and analytics.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and VBA, with demonstrated experience developing tools to streamline and automate workflows
• 7+ years of experience working in-depth with catastrophe risk modeling software, including a strong understanding of the backend tables and functions within the Moody’s (RMS), Verisk (AIR) Nat Cat Nat Cat models
• Familiarity with leveraging APIs from catastrophe modeling platforms to extend tool capabilities and support system integration efforts
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Advanced database (SQL) and Microsoft Office skills are required
• AI and ML expertise

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Marsh digital tools and processes to drive efficiency and deliver catastrophe risk insights to clients and colleagues
• Drive adoption and integration of new transformative technology
• Maintain a strategic focus with the flexibility to respond quickly to urgent ad-hoc requests
• Effectively listen and communicate complex technical concepts concisely to audiences with varying levels of technical experience
• This position will be responsible for management of others.
