Pinterest's Ads Delivery team aims to connect pinners' aspirations with partner products. The job is to lead a team of ML engineers to build and deliver impactful, end-to-end advertiser-facing ad products, enhancing ads intelligence for better advertiser experiences.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with model offline development and online serving.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale online e-commerce systems is preferred.
• Full ads funnel knowledge that’s from bidding and budgeting systems all the way to ads retrieval and allocation is preferred.
• Strong software engineering, mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for our ads intelligence products, shaping the future of advertiser experiences on Pinterest.
• Lead your team in building scalable products, applying state-of-art machine learning techniques to enhance ads intelligence at Pinterest, including budget allocation,media planning, campaign recommendations, lead generation, and churn prevention.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, designers and engineers across the company to deliver end-to-end advertiser facing ads products.
• Mentor and develop machine learning engineers at all levels, setting clear technical vision, guiding daily execution, and fostering a strong, healthy team culture.
• Establish and uphold high standards for code quality, system design, and operational excellence within your team.

Other

• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience.
• 1+ years of management experience.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/month, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: San Francisco, Palo Alto, Seattle.
