Requirements
- Strong software engineering and mathematical skills with knowledge of machine learning
- Hands-on experience with large-scale online ranking/recommendation systems.
- Experience with Ads domain is a plus, especially privacy preserving modeling.
- Knowledge of Recommender Systems, Ads Ranking and related products
- Experience with machine learning solutions that measure and optimize the effectiveness of advertising
Responsibilities
- Lead projects that involve developing and deploying state-of-the-art (and beyond) ML models in production advertising systems, with a focus on conversion modeling and measurement.
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams across the company to help define and drive forward-looking ML strategy for privacy preserving conversion modeling and optimization.
- Be hands-on and develop models and systems that lead to step-function improvements to our topline metrics
- Mentor and grow junior ML engineers in the team and partner teams and help to uplevel ML talent across the organization
Other
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field
- 6+ years of industry experience with related background in Recommender Systems, Ads Ranking and related products.
- 2+ years of experience as TLM or EM managing engineering teams
- In-office collaboration once per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: San Francisco, Palo Alto, Seattle
