Johnson & Johnson is looking to develop the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments for Cardiovascular diseases, including heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke, by innovating across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in engineering, with expertise in cardiovascular product platforms
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies and processes
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on design, product development, lifecycle management, and sustaining engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement innovation strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business growth.
  • Manage product lifecycle initiatives across existing products (with focus on CP, 5.5 and RP pump systems) providing direction and mentorship to drive high performance.
  • Foster a culture of driving innovation while building confidence in the scale of high quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features and specifications.
  • Leverage Product Development & Design expertise to support escalations and triage sustaining requests across the pump systems.
  • Support initiatives that provide enhancements of existing products, or drive operational efficiency.
  • Shape and implement strategies for product design for manufacturing (DFM).

  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across multiple functions.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to execute the product vision.
  • Mentor a team with capabilities in Design, product development, and life cycle engineering.
  • Drive team performance through coaching, development, and performance management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
