CLA is looking to enhance its data assessment capabilities to maximize analysis and insight generation by defining, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide data assets and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with both logical and physical database design utilizing technologies such as MS SQL, Postgres.
- Big Data technologies: Azure Datalake, Data Bricks, and Data Factories.
- Well versed in API, Integration and ETL processes
- Fluent in SQL and SSIS
- Familiar with other tech programming language such as Java, Python or MS.Net
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, implement, and maintain the data assets and infrastructure used across the enterprise.
- Lead the progress of data standards, integration and quality initiates, storage, integration, and performance of data stores both for application and analytics purposes.
- Direct research and development in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements over the course of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborates with business teams to create roadmaps of strategic initiatives and data related requirements.
- Lead the development, establishment, and enforcement of data quality and security standards across the firm.
- Drive implementation and support of Master Data Management solution.
- Create data models and database designs working with the application development teams.

- 7 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Manage all members of the Data Engineering team and ensure that aggressive deadlines are met.
- Works closely with Risk and Information Governance team understanding how teams are accessing and utilizing data to provide insights to their internal and external audience.
