Comcast is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining commercial software and data warehouse architecture using various technologies such as AWS, Oracle, and Python.
Requirements
- experience in commercial software development
- creating web applications using object-oriented programming methodologies and design pattern architecture
- creating, managing, and monitoring Crontab and Oracle jobs
- implementing notification functionality in Python
- creating databases, schemas, tables, views, indexes, constrains, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and ETL jobs using Oracle and PostgreSQL
- utilizing Python and PySpark for Glue jobs and ETL processes
- developing machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, Keras, Sklearn, and Pandas
Responsibilities
- plan, design, and develop commercial software and data warehouse architecture using AWS-based technologies: Glue, S3, Redshift, and Lambda
- work with Kafka for data pipeline projects
- create web applications using object-oriented programming methodologies and design pattern architecture
- schedule Concourse build jobs to implement CI/CD
- integrate deployment status with Slack and Jira
- develop machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, Keras, Sklearn, and Pandas
- create, manage, and monitor Crontab and Oracle jobs
Other
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- five (5) years of experience in commercial software development
- one (1) year of experience scheduling Concourse build jobs to implement CI/CD
- manage a team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees
- develop and administer performance standards for the organizational unit
