Requirements
- Proficiency in the AWS stack, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with Agentic AI technologies and their application in solving business challenges
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that address business challenges in the Home Loan Origination process
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code reviews and quality assurance
- Maintain hands-on involvement in development tasks, leveraging proficiency in the AWS stack and programming languages
- Utilize knowledge of Agentic AI to integrate advanced technologies into our solutions
- Drive Agile methodologies within the team to enhance productivity and responsiveness to changing business needs
- Oversee daily implementation activities
- Identifying and escalating issues

- Act as a mentor and leader for the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable engineering solutions
- Manage team dynamics, including performance evaluations, career development, and conflict resolution
- Creates a culture of diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect for the team
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role as an Engineering Lead or Manager in the financial services or home loan industry
- Demonstrated people management experience, including mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
