JPMorganChase within the Corporate Technology Portfolio Intelligence Team needs a Manager of Software Engineering to lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, business requirements, and best practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Actively participate in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Deliver high-quality code and solutions using Java (Spring Boot), SQL, and React or TypeScript.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Practical cloud native experience
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
- Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
