JPMorgan Chase is looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to guide multiple teams to success within the Consumer and Community Banking Team, Operations Technology - Service Product, and establish direction for team output, practices, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in modern programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Java and Spring Boot
- Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based applications and services
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Practical experience with AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service) and ECR (Elastic Container Registry) for container orchestration and management
- Experience in front end development, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Reacts JS
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
- Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
- Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
- Adds to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Experience leading technology projects
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
