Restaurant Brands International Inc. is looking to improve the commercialization process for product renovations, innovations, quality, and cost improvements for Popeyes poultry products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science/technology, Meat Science, Poultry Science, or other related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, research and development, or related field.
- Poultry experience required.
- Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations as they relate to standards of identity, ingredients, nutrition labeling and label claims.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end commercialization process for innovation, renovation and spec management for all poultry products.
- Perform yield studies of raw and cooked products.
- Participate in sensory and physical evaluations, internally and with labs, to ensure product meets specifications.
- Lead research, testing, and evaluation of new ingredients or other technology, ensuring product specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain process management spec match requests in partnership with third party Supply Chain
- Work closely with plant manufacturers to ensure scale-up and product production is a match to gold standard samples.
- Participate in ingredient evaluations at test laboratories, confirming all parameters meet specifications

- Must live in Miami, FL or relocate to Miami for the position.
- Need current passport and ability to travel outside of the US, specifically Canada.
- Traveling to suppliers, events, or meetings approx. 60% of the time.
- Attending tradeshows or conferences to network and stay up to date with ingredient and technology trends.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
