The NYSE Proprietary Market Data business needs to manage its analytics, historical, and quantitative data product suite to meet evolving client needs and grow revenue.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and advanced Excel for data analysis and visualization a plus
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other common language(s) a plus
- Intellectually curious with the ability to solve real world business problems using quantitative and computational techniques
- Ability to stay up-to-date regarding new technologies and competitors’ policies and offerings
Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, emerging technologies and market trends to develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for NYSE analytics and quantitative market data products
- Communicate with customers, prospects and partners to gather feedback, build MVP use-cases for product roadmap, and enhancement ideas for continuous innovation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (data science, technology, operations, legal, sales, marketing, etc.) to manage end-to-end product development cycles and go-to-market strategy
- Liaise with customers acting in a capacity of subject matter expert to assist with product questions
- Create data-driven insights to support business development and growth opportunities through ad-hoc and regular internal reports
Other
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, engineering, or information technology/computer science preferred
- 7+ years’ work experience in a data or trading infrastructure product management, business development or quantitative role
- Customer-focused mentality with the ability to convert customer needs and market trends into product requirements and business objectives
- Understanding of exchanges, trading, and market data ecosystem
- Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills
