CVS Health is seeking to enhance its Accordant product within the Spend Management Team by hiring a Manager Product Development. This role is crucial for managing product value, driving new product development from concept to implementation, identifying new product opportunities, and ensuring commercialization for growth and profitability.
Requirements
- 3 + years of experience in product design or product management, product strategy, or consulting.
- 3 + years of experience within the Healthcare industry.
- 3 + years of experience working in a Product organization in a matrixed organization, including working with multiple functional areas such as Product, Commercialization, Clinical, Finance, Sales
- Proven success in developing and launching new products, taking ideas from concept to commercialization
- Experience working in pharmacy benefit and / or health insurance industries
- Direct experience with CVS Specialty benefits and/or product
- 2+ years of client facing experience managing customers
Responsibilities
- Lead new product ideation and development, transforming abstract concepts into actionable solutions
- Navigate complex and ambiguous product opportunities, applying structured thinking to define scope, value, and execution pathways
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform product strategy and identify whitespace opportunities
- Create and defend business cases that articulate strategic rationale, financial impact, and go-to-market plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across product, finance, operations, and leadership
- Develop and own business cases to support new product opportunities for growth and profitability
- Driving critical projects through the entire product development lifecycle, concept through implementation, for new and existing products
