Capital One is looking to solve the problem of scaling adoption and optimizing resource usage for its AI and ML infrastructure Control Plane, which centrally manages compute resources in a multi-tenant environment using Kubernetes and related technologies on Amazon EC2.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Amazon EC2, Kubernetes, Spark, Ray, or CPU/GPU utilization optimization
- Experience with software engineering or developer-facing platform capabilities
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
- Knowledge of quantitative fields such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field

- Driving the strategy and delivery of core capabilities of the control plane
- Implementing strategies to scale adoption via self-service onboarding and superior developer experience
- Optimizing resource usage, maximizing utilization and reducing costs associated with compute resources
- Delivering game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence
- Leveraging technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value
- Identifying and resolving complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks
- Leading cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment
Other
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
- Ability to work in a team and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days
